Growth & Realisation
This post isnt a dream nor a nightmare but something i have general thought alot about.
When you are younger you are usualy taught to have manners by your parents or guardian.
e.g. Eat with your mouth shut, dont talk with food in your mouth, dont talk over people, dont swear, dont be racist,hold doors open for people etc etc.
I have allways listened and taken it all onboard. So whilst im not the most polite guy around, i do like to think i have reasonably good manners.
When we get old enough to kind of be our own person we become more aware of people and there personalities. We realise peoples bad trates.
So you go from being carefull, making sure that you have good manners and looking upto all these authorative figures thinking that they are all very polite nice people, to realising that they arent perfect and barely have any manners themselves.
Most parents will teach there kid to not do things that they do or have done themselves, which is a little bit stupid considering kids arent kids forever.
I dont think you should teach a kid not to do something that you do yourself as its false.
you have to set the example.
at this point im not 100% that any of that makes sence, but i know that i feel better.
the whole idea for this was me re-re-re-re-realising that parents are still naive, childish, rude and bitter people too. Even if they choose to think that they are sometimes god like.
No person is perfect.
